My Igbo Tutor provides online language instruction services in the Igbo language. Our Services include but are not limited to:

  • Private, family, and group online Igbo language classes
  • Educational materials related to Igbo language and culture
  • Online scheduling and booking of classes
  • Payment processing for classes

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of our Services, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Update your information to keep it accurate and current
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Booking and Payment

When booking classes through our Services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete payment information
  • Pay all fees and charges incurred through your account at the rates in effect when the charges were incurred
  • Adhere to our Refund Policy for cancellations and rescheduling

All payments are processed securely through our payment processors. We do not store your complete credit card information on our servers.

5. Class Attendance and Conduct

When attending our online classes, you agree to:

  • Attend classes at the scheduled time or provide notice according to our cancellation policy
  • Maintain appropriate behavior and language during classes
  • Respect the instructors and other students
  • Use the provided materials only for personal educational purposes

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided through our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and data compilations, is the property of My Igbo Tutor or our content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Services without our prior written consent.

7. User Content

You may have the opportunity to submit content to us (such as homework, feedback, or questions). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media.

You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights to the content you submit and that your content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL My Igbo Tutor, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless My Igbo Tutor, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. All changes are effective immediately when posted and apply to all access to and use of the Services thereafter. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

These Terms and your use of the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.
